Jill has been a member of the firm since April 1990. In January 2002, Jill was named a partner in the firm.
Jill specializes in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all entertainment-related documents, including recording, music publishing, production, management, and merchandising agreements, master use, as well as synch and mechanical licenses.
She works extensively and in close contact with bands, record companies and music publishers, and loves all kinds of music. Jill has participated as a judge in the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law Moot Court competition and has recently been a guest lecturer at New York University’s School of Education Music Entertainment Professions Program, St. John’s Law School, and Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.
In addition, Jill’s extensive article on music publishing entitled “Music Copublishing and the Mysterious ‘Writer’s Share’” was published in the American Bar Association’s Entertainment and Sports Lawyer.
